一、美国留学纳税常识：

美国税率各州不同，而且应课税之项目各州也不尽相同。有任何 *** 、 *** ，甚至某些领取奖学金及各项补助者均须缴纳所得税。所得税一般分联邦税及州税二种，但有些所得充裕的州，可能未课征州所得税。

报税程序如下：每年一月底前，所得来源的单位会寄W-2的薪资所得扣缴凭单给你，领奖学金者则会领到另一种型式的扣缴凭单(1042S)，应影印存盘备用。联邦所得税的表格可向银行、邮局索取，最常用的有1040、1040A、1040EZ及1040NR，有时学校或社区图书馆，或外籍学生顾问办公室也会陈列一些，更好能早点取得表格，以免因表格缺货延误报税期限。
